These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Women in Business HQ website, our events, coaching services, and our online community, The Collective (together, the "Services"). By purchasing a membership, registering for an event, or participating in coaching, you agree to these Terms.
1. Membership & The Collective
The Collective is a private community for women in business. Membership grants access to the community, member directory, monthly Connection Hours, Coffee & Connect gatherings, and member-only experiences as described on our website. Founding members pay a one-time fee of $500 for lifetime access. Membership is non-transferable and limited to one per person.
We reserve the right to review applications and memberships, and to suspend or remove any member whose conduct is disruptive, harmful, or inconsistent with the spirit of the community. Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
2. Events
Event tickets are sold for specific dates and locations. Ticket prices, dates, and details are listed at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, event tickets are non-refundable. If an event is cancelled by us, you will receive a refund or credit toward a future event.
Some experiences, including Secret Society dinners and retreats, are available exclusively to Collective members and may be ticketed separately. Admission to these experiences is not included in the Collective membership fee unless explicitly stated.
You attend events at your own risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in an event.
3. Coaching
Coaching services are provided to support your personal and business goals. Coaching is not therapy, legal advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of any specific business result. Your outcomes depend on your own efforts and circumstances. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on coaching.
Coaching sessions and materials are confidential and intended for your personal use. You may not share, record, or redistribute coaching content without our written permission.
4. No Guarantees
The Collective, our events, and our coaching are designed to create opportunities for meaningful relationships and growth. We do not guarantee referrals, clients, collaborations, introductions, revenue, or any specific business outcome. Individual results will vary and are never guaranteed. Relationships create opportunity, but what you build depends on you.
5. Community Guidelines
As a member or attendee, you agree to:
- Treat other members, attendees, and staff with respect.
- Not harass, discriminate against, or disparage anyone.
- Not use the community to spam, aggressively sell, or solicit in ways that disrupt the experience for others.
- Respect the confidentiality of what other members share.
- Not share member contact information outside the community without permission.
- Not record, screenshot, or redistribute community conversations or Connection Hours without consent.
Violations may result in removal from the community without refund.
6. Payments & Refunds
Founding membership fees and event tickets are non-refundable. Coaching fees are due as agreed at the time of booking. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us within 7 days. We reserve the right to change pricing for future members and events at any time.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, in our events, and in our community — including text, graphics, logos, and materials — is owned by Women in Business HQ or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission. Member-generated content remains owned by the member, but you grant us a license to display it within the community.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Women in Business HQ and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
9. Third-Party Services
We use third-party platforms for payments, email, and community features. We are not responsible for the practices or content of those services, and their terms apply to your use of them.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Florida.
